Da Nang hotels and guesthouses guide

Furama Resort in Da Nang is a top choice
Most of Da Nang’s hotels cater to business people rather than tourists, so many of them include spacious banqueting halls and conference rooms. There are plenty of top-end and mid-range options, but few budget hotels and nothing like a backpackers’ ghetto.
If you’ve no special reason to be based in the city centre, it’s worth considering places on nearby beaches such as My Khe. Apart from those resorts listed here, look out for new branches of international chains like Hyatt and Crowne Plaza that are planning to open beachfront properties soon.

Beach hotels in Da Nang
Furama Resort Danang: Until recently, this would have qualified as Vietnam’s most luxurious resort, though there are now several other places that might dispute this idea. It’s situated on My An Beach, about 5km south of the city centre. US$200-700. My An Beach, tel: +84 (0)511 384 7333...More details and Booking
My Khe Hotel: There’s nothing special about the décor or furnishings here, but rooms are a decent size and some even have beach views. They have two other branches nearby if this one is full. US$25-80. 241 Nguyen Van Thoai, tel: +84 (0)511 383 6125...More details and booking
